About

Umoja Foundation

Umoja is an Pan-African organization dedicated to fostering unity and progress across Africa. Our mission is to support African nations in need and contribute to the betterment of the continent for all its inhabitants. Operating within various African communities, we prioritize those facing urgent challenges while striving for sustainable solutions.

• Through comprehensive skills and training programs in agriculture, basic construction, and both modern and traditional medicine, we aim to equip ordinary Africans with essential survival skills, particularly in challenging economic environments.

• We work extensively within various African communities, prioritizing those facing immediate challenges, and endeavor to implement sustainable solutions.

Our project

Our project at Umoja in Congo aims to empower communities through various initiatives. We focus on sustainable agriculture practices to improve food security and livelihoods. Through education programs, we strive to provide access to quality education for all, fostering personal and community development. Access to clean freshwater is a priority, ensuring better health and sanitation. Life skills training equips individuals with essential skills for personal growth and employment opportunities. Additionally, crafting activities promote creativity and entrepreneurship, contributing to economic empowerment within the community. Community housing initiatives are also a core aspect of our project, aiming to provide safe and sustainable housing solutions for all members of the community, fostering a sense of belonging and stability."

"I dream of an Africa which is in peace with itself."

Nelson Mandela

"Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted, the indifference of those who should have known better, the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most, that has made it possible for evil to triumph.

Haile Selassie

“Yet all stock exchanges in the world are pre-occupied with Africa's gold, diamonds, uranium, platinum, copper and iron ore. We have been too busy nursing our separate states to understand fully the basic need of our union, rooted in common purpose, common planning and common endeavor
